Police say a woman was stabbed to death in Highbridge Saturday night. Two people of interest are in custody.
The NYPD responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress inside 1182 Ogden Ave. just after 10 p.m.
Officers discovered Shashamanie Thompson, 30, unconscious and unresponsive with stab wounds to her face and abdomen. Police say she was a resident of the Ogden Avenue building.
EMS took Thompson to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where she was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
