A woman tried to rob a business in Greenwich but
only wound up getting hit by her own getaway car on Saturday, according to
police.
Authorities say the woman was trying to steal
several purses at a store on Mason Street. But,
she got interrupted by customers so she
ran out of the store.
She and a bystander were hit by a dark colored
SUV - her getaway car.
Police say the driver displayed a gun and fled
with the suspect.
It is unknown at this time
if the suspect was injured, but the bystander suffered non-life threatening
injuries.
