A violent brawl between two groups of women broke out in Crown Heights, leaving eight stabbed or suffering from chemical burns.
According to authorities, the fight broke out at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schenectady Avenue and Carroll Street. All of the women involved are said to be in their late teens or early 20s, and were armed with knives and drain cleaner.
Authorities say two of the women were stabbed, one in the back and the other in the arm, while six others were burned with the cleaner. The groups had allegedly agreed to meet on Facebook.
All eight women are in police custody, and in stable condition at the hospital. However, charges against them are still pending.
