Jury duty is a civic responsibility that many have to fulfill.
Reports published Friday say New York's First Lady Chirlane McCray postponed hers yesterday.
She says she has a busy schedule, so News 12 pounded the pavement to ask Brooklyn residents what excuses they've used to get out of the obligation.
Results were mixed, but several people say they would tell the judge they feel biased about the court system and would be unfit to serve.
