The state Assembly has passed a so-called "dining with dogs" bill, following in the footsteps of the state Senate.
If signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the bill would allow dogs to join their owners in the outdoor seating sections of restaurants.
The dogs would have to be leashed and restaurants would still have the option of not allowing animals.
News 12 Brooklyn hit the streets to ask residents what they think about dining with other people's pets.
