All eyes were still on Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge Saturday with the hopes to witness the slugger break the American League record for most home runs in a season.
Judge was held hitless with two walks as the Pinstripes defeated the Orioles 8-0 at Yankee Stadium.
The slugger hit his 61st home run on Wednesday, tying the AL record set by Roger Maris in 1961.
While some fans told News 12 they were disappointed, they said they’re still holding on to hope that they’ll be at Yankee Stadium when Judge makes history.
The team finishes their series vs. the O’s on Sunday, then plays a four-game set in Texas before the postseason begins.
