Gates and security checkpoints were expected to open at 11 a.m. Monday for Yankee Stadium's 114th opening day, but the game was postponed until Tuesday due to the weather.
They say fans should still head to the stadium early Tuesday and to pre-register online to get through security faster.
All guests and children will be screened and are allowed to bring up to two bags into the stadium, but they must meet security approval. Items prohibited from the stadium are laptops, laser pointers, aluminum bottles or thermoses, glass, cans, video cameras and selfie sticks.
The Yankees will face off against the Houston Astros.
