Yonkers police: Man with 60 convictions arrested in knife attack

A man with 60 prior convictions was arrested Saturday in a knife attack in Yonkers, police say.

A man with 60 prior convictions was arrested Saturday in a knife attack in Yonkers, police say.
The suspect, identified as Samual Areizaga, was charged with assault in the second degree, a felony. Police say it was his 65th arrest.
Police responded to Riverdale Avenue where they say a dispute turned violent between Areizaga and another man.
The victim is in the hospital recovering from minor injuries.  
Areizaga had six open bench and arrest warrants with a record of 19 failure to appear counts.
