Almost two dozen kids hawked lemonade in McCarren Park Monday as part of a nonprofit group's entrepreneur program from children.
Lemonade Day aims to heighten kids' business skills and financial literacy, organizers say.
The children set up lemonade stands around the park, and organizers urged the young salespeople to split up their earnings to spend, save and donate.
The long-term goal is to hatch more locally owned small businesses and increase entrepreneurship in the neighborhood.
The children are attending a summer camp run by the Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corp.
