A man is dead and another is in stable condition after a shooting near the Red Hook Houses in Brooklyn.
Police say they responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside the houses on Columbia Street around 10 p.m. Sunday. 
They say upon arrival, they located a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Police say they also located a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest inside the lobby of the building.
He was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 
Police say they recovered two guns at the scene and that no one was arrested.
They have not released the identity of the man.
