A 12-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Brooklyn Wednesday.
It happened at the intersection of Dahill and Cortelyou roads around 7 a.m. in Borough Park.
Police say the boy was wearing a helmet when he was hit by a 24-year-old driver.
The boy was transported to the hospital with head trauma and is listed in critical condition.
The driver stayed on the scene, and police say charges are not pending.
