New York City Parks recreation centers will be reopening Monday after closing during the pandemic.
The 13 recreation centers will operate at a reduced capacity, meaning centers will only be open for members who were active as of March 2020.
Also masks will be required at all times. Equipment will be moved around so members can social distance, and reservations are required before attending. Time slots can be booked on the New York City Parks website.
Two additional recreation centers will reopen on June 23. Starting Monday, indoor recreation events in senior centers will resume.
