There are two new Citi Bike stations to choose from in Brooklyn, both with the goal of expanding access to COVID-19 vaccination sites.
Both were installed within a block of the Brooklyn Army Terminal – one is on the corner of 1st Avenue and 57th Street, the other is on 58th Street and 2nd Avenue.
Lyft, who owns and operates the bike program, says it is offering more access to the site giving people the capability to socially distance.
The total number of vaccination sites in proximity of a Citi Bike service area is now 65.
Added docking capacity will also be available next week to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bathgate Contract Postal Station in the Bronx.
