Two people were shot at a subway station during the evening rush Tuesday in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The shooting happened at around 5 p.m. at the station at Fulton Street and Utica Avenue. Police say a man in a hooded shirt can be seen getting into a fight with another man outside the station. The suspect chases one of the victims to the stairwell, where that victim is shot. A third man was also shot.
Police say both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital. One is in serious condition and the other is critical.
Authorities are searching for a suspect who they say fled toward Atlantic Avenue.
There is no word on the identities of the victims or their possible relationship to the gunman.
Police had closed the Utica Avenue station Tuesday as they investigated.
