Two teenagers are recovering after being shot in Downtown Brooklyn, near the border of the Dumbo neighborhood.
According to police, there was some sort of dispute among four young men at Bridge and York streets at around 11 p.m. Monday when shots were fired.
They say a 14-year-old was hit in the left arm and a 15-year-old took a bullet to the right thigh. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
The shooting came after community activists denounced the city's gun policies in response to the shooting of two other teenage boys near the Brooklyn Museum.
