The design is a symbol of new beginnings, a fitting theme for expecting moms. The new pieces of art help bring life to the halls where many strong women are bringing babies into the world.
Organizers say the project also aims to lessen stress for patients and families, especially for new dads anxious to meet their new addition to the family.
The new design was made possible through a generous donation from Healing Hospital Art - The foundation for Photo/Art in Hospitals.
