Officials say several businesses suffered damage and multiple firefighters were injured from a fire that broke out in Williamsburg on Sunday.

They say at least nine stores on the corner of Lee Avenue were impacted after the five-alarm blaze broke out.

FDNY officials say they were on the scene in less than four minutes, but the fire quickly grew to five alarms as firefighters raced to put out the flames.

No civilians were injured, but 10 firefighters were taken to the hospital. Some of the first responders were seriously injured, however all of them are now stable.

Lee Avenue and several surrounding streets are closed off Monday.
