It’s a scorcher, but many in Brooklyn residents are still soaking up the sunshine — especially along the Coney Island boardwalk.

Whether it’s cooling off with a dip in the Atlantic or grabbing a cold treat, beachgoers are finding plenty of ways to beat the heat.

“It feels good. Feels good. It’s a little cold at first, but give it a couple of minutes,” said Shatiek Sanchez, as he waded into the ocean.

“I live by the water, and I live in the water, so definitely water for me,” added Madeline Tricarici.

Jessica Nagle said ice cream is a must for her and her 6-year-old daughter.

“Lots of ice cream, air conditioning, rides on the subway and coming to the beach,” she said. “I think it’s her favorite thing — to have ice cream on the boardwalk. Absolutely. She’s just picking her flavor right now. Too many choices.”

At Paul’s Daughter, a longtime boardwalk staple, manager Stephen Gaffney said the staff is staying cool however they can.

“It’s always 10 degrees cooler than inland. Hopefully, there’s a breeze,” he said. “We have fans for everybody. We let people take breaks. Sometimes it’s a walk-in news — we got a freezer and a big cooler you can walk into.”
