The eventful part of the forecast is Sunday night with a round of light rain showers that pass overnight for the southern half of the state. A storm moves quickly to our south, and the northern edge of this storm can send light rain showers through New Jersey overnight. These showers can mix with some light snow, but it is not a big impact. The impacts are very minor, and the precipitation will be done before sunrise on Monday.
Aside from this, the rest of the weekend is fair. Flurries fall overnight briefly before a warmup for Saturday midday. Temperatures are warmer on Saturday with highs near 44 degrees and sunshine. Passing fair weather clouds move through.
Sunday is cloudy ahead of the nearby storm to the south. However, it is chilly with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.
Monday looks good with a mostly sunny sky and seasonal temperatures once the morning clouds get out of the way. Tuesday is mild with highs in the lower 50s.
