Autism advocate Charles Fuller is getting the word out about his annual autism walk that will take place in Bridgeport next weekend.

Fuller says his longtime friend, football great Jerry Rice, sends a video to kick off the walk every year.

He adds it's nice to see everyone come together for a good cause.

"When everybody comes together, it's the most beautiful, beautiful thing...It's important because there's such a bad stigma about autism, and it's not that bad, and I think I'm living proof of it. The autism walk is next weekend for the public, and if you're not doing anything, come one, come all," Fuller said.

The seventh annual Charles Fuller Autism Walk will kick off at McLevy Green Saturday April 25 at noon.
