The Wilton Police Department celebrated the opening of its new headquarters with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the building on Tuesday afternoon.

The facility has a new flagpole, workspaces, storage, evidence rooms and more.

"As we open these doors we are not just celebrating a building, we are reinforcing our mission. This facility enhances our ability to serve, respond and protect,” said Chief Thomas Conlan. “It provides our officers and staff the tools, space and resources necessary to meet the evolving demands of modern policing, while strengthening our connection to the community we serve."

The new HQ is located between Town Hall and the old police station on Danbury Road.
