Sunday is off to a warm, muggy, and unsettled start. Showers and a possible thunderstorm are likely through around midday, with patchy fog also early on. A few of the morning storms could turn strong, with the main threats being heavy rain, gusty winds, and small hail. Localized flooding is also occurring.
The good news: things trend toward a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon as the rain moves out. Highs reach the low 80s, though it'll still feel plenty humid. If your day involves being outside, the back half of Sunday is the better window.
Today: Seas stay manageable with no small craft concerns. Wind are shifting from the east to the south at about 10 kts.
Monday: Seas are similar, but it is a touch breezier. The wind will be southwest at under 15kts which remains below Small Craft Advisory alerts.
Monday still carries a small chance of an isolated afternoon shower or storm, but otherwise turns mostly dry and sunny with highs in the upper 70s. From Monday night through midweek, drier air and high pressure settle in. Expect a stretch of sunny skies, upper 70s to low 80s, and noticeably lower humidity, so it'll feel comfortable and pleasant compared to this weekend's mugginess.
Showers and storms look to return by Thursday and stick around into Friday, but the trend looks dry next weekend with seasonable weather.
