A Brooklyn man is facing multiple charges in connection to the death of a 4-month-old girl earlier this month.
Ricardo Price, 23, was with his girlfriend's young daughter, Royalty Kemp, in an apartment at the Roosevelt Houses on June 23 when she started crying uncontrollably, police say.
Police believe Price responded by bouncing her up and down, with the infant's head hitting his knee repeatedly.
Royalty Kemp was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals Woodhull by her mother and Price that day with traumatic head injuries, police said. She was later transferred to NYC Health & Hospitals Bellevue, where she was pronounced dead on July 1.
Price, who is not Kemp's father, has been charged with multiple crimes including attempted murder, assault, and reckless assault on a child.
Neighbors tell News 12 that Kemp and her mother just moved into the building a few months ago.
