West Indian Day Parade brings Caribbean pride, heightened security to Brooklyn

Multiple people were injured after a late-night shooting in Highbridge.

The NYPD says they first responded to a fight happening at 1435 University Ave. just before 11 p.m. on Monday.

When they arrived on scene, officers found a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. A 52-year-old woman and another 65-year-old woman also each had a gunshot wound to their leg.

All three were taken to Lincoln Hospital where the man is currently in critical condition. The two women are stable.
    
NYPD says no arrests have been made yet.

The investigation is ongoing.
