A 30-year-old man was shot and killed at Canarsie Pier early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call of a person shot around 3:15 a.m. near Belt Parkway and Rockaway Parkway.
Upon arrival, officers found 30-year-old John Garvin with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body.
Garvin was rushed to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
