4-alarm Parkchester fire displaces dozens

A massive four-alarm fire in Parkchester yesterday has displaced dozens of people. Fire officials say the blaze started in one building and tore through five adjacent homes, businesses and a church.

Fire officials say the blaze started in one building and tore through five adjacent homes, businesses and a church.
Police blocked off parts of Van Nest and Hunt avenues as firefighters worked in shifts to put out any remaining smoke embers.
