The women met with the victim at the NYCHA Cooper Park Houses after speaking on the app. Once inside the building two masked men carried out the robbery, the NYPD says.
The first incident happened on July 22 just before 10 p.m. inside 398 Morgan Ave. A 27-year-old man was punched in the face and robbed of his car keys at gunpoint. The suspects drove away from the scene in the victim’s black 2024 Mercedes Benz.
A second victim, a 36-year-old man, was assaulted and robbed at knifepoint of his iPhone on July 29 inside 30 Debevoise Ave.
Police did not provide the name of the dating app used by the suspects.
