Five officers were hospitalized Sunday after two police cruisers crashed into each other in East Flatbush.

Witnesses tell News 12 that they heard police sirens from all directions just before one police vehicle made a left turn onto Church Avenue and crashed into another vehicle at the corner of Utica Avenue around 7 p.m.

The witness say the vehicles were driving fast when the crash occurred.

Police say five officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
