7 injured in Bed-Stuy building fire

A fire that broke out inside an apartment building in Bedford-Stuyvesant this morning has sent seven people to the hospital.
Flames ignited on the sixth floor of 1745 Fulton St. at around 10 a.m. Eyewitnesses say the street was blocked off as several emergency crews responded to the fire.
According to first responders, all of the victims sustained non life-threatening injuries.
It took firefighters a little more than 30 minutes to put out the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
