AAA says holiday commuters should be prepared to wait in traffic as they expect it to be the third busiest Thanksgiving in 20 years.
According to the roadside service, more than 49 million Americans will be hitting the road between Wednesday and Sunday. The number is an increase from 2022, which may be due to gas prices that are 42 cents cheaper.
The national price is now $3.36, an amount that some say is still too much.
AAA expects at least 4 million people will be flying this holiday week.
