The city's Administration for Children's Services held their annual Back to School Give Back and Community Resource Fair in Bedford-Stuyvesant Thursday afternoon.
At least 50 organizations, including Emblem Health and Child Health Plus, contributed backpacks, books and clothes to help students in the community prepare for the school year.
They also offered bike helmets and sneakers to the children.
ACS hopes to outfit 500 students this year with school supplies. Last year, 300 students received the donations.
