Today marks two years since 1-year-old Davell Gardner lost his life after a bullet struck him while he was sitting in a stroller at a barbecue.
Brooklyn residents gathered tonight to remember Davell, hoping for more peace and less gun violence.
News 12’s Mary-Lyn Buckley spoke with family and community members at the vigil about celebrating his life and preparing for Davell Gardner Day, which is on July 16.
