April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and now there's a smartphone app to help spread the message of anti-violence.
The Circle of 6 app allows anyone to send a pre-written text message to six people at the same time with just two taps of the phone. The messages can include a GPS location when users need someone to get them home safe or just a note to call if they feel in danger.
Circle of 6 wants to get 30,000 college students to download the app by the end of the month and has labeled today National Download Day to encourage parents, students and advocates to get the word out.
