Urban planners from around the world visited New York City Monday for a first-hand look at what makes the Big Apple tick.
Some of the planners and architects visited the Bronx and toured the old Yankee Stadium area. They also looked at new businesses on River Avenue.
One developer told News 12 that it's incredibly important to keep elements of the past in the area.
The urban planners and architects were in New York for the Urban Land Institute Summit.
