Artuso Pastry Shop is celebrating the newly elected pontiff by creating a new cookie that features an edible photo of Pope Leo XIV.

Pope cookies have been a tradition since 2008, when Pope Benedict held a Mass at Yankee Stadium. The pastry shop began selling the special cookies with his face on them to commemorate the event.

In 2015, Pope Francis visited New York, and he was given one of these cookies with his face on it. He enjoyed it so much that he sent them a plaque to thank them.

The cookie is the base of its black and white cookies, with white glossy icing and an edible fondant portrait of the Pope.

It's available for purchase online here.
