Construction at Atlantic Yards has reportedly been halted over a contractor dispute.
The New York Times reports that Skanska closed down shop on Wednesday, citing design flaws and extra costs. The construction firm is contracted to supply 930 modules for the 32-story tower.
The building is the first of 14 planned, pre-fabricated structures in the Pacific Park development.
Developer Forest City Ratner says it's confident the buildings will be built.
