Attorney General James releases body camera footage of fatal officer-involved shooting in East Flatbush
The Attorney General’s Office says a firearm was recovered from the scene.

Attorney General Letitia James has released body camera footage from a deadly officer-involved shooting in East Flatbush.
In the footage, officers were chasing 33-year-old Christian Emile on Church Avenue on May 12.
Police saw Emile and another man having an argument while patrolling. Police say Emile had a gun and he did not respond to calls to drop his weapon. They confirm officers then opened fire fatally shooting him.
The Attorney General’s Office says a firearm was recovered from the scene.
