Authorities: 4 arrested, charged with DWI at Port Jefferson Station sobriety checkpoint

Suffolk police say four men were arrested overnight at a sobriety checkpoint in Port Jefferson Station.

Suffolk police say four men were arrested overnight at a sobriety checkpoint in Port Jefferson Station. 
Police say Daniel George, William Renner, Jean Alouder and Elijah Bryan were all charged with driving while intoxicated.
The checkpoint was held on the corner of Route 112 and Hallock Avenue from 11 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.  
Police say the checkpoint is part of a Fourth of July holiday weekend crackdown on impaired drivers.
A total of 472 vehicles drove through the checkpoint.
