It happened just after 7:15 p.m. two weeks ago at the Fulton Street subway station.
Police say the victim was standing in the mezzanine of the station when the two suspects approached him from behind and punched him before taking off with his Apple headphones.
The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.
