A Brooklyn AAU basketball team is figuring out its next steps after parents and players say they were scammed for thousands of dollars by their coach.
Team 12 says its former coach, Karim Seabrook, collected more than $30,000 so the team could attend a tournament in Las Vegas.
In a Skype interview last week with News 12, Seabrook denied the allegations, saying he never took any money and was forced off the team.
Team 12 has launched a fundraising page to try to make the Vegas tournament trip a reality.
