The battle of the unbeaten in the Bronx pitted the 3-0 Fordham Rams against the 1-0 three-time defending champs Lafayette Leopards.
The Leopards have the number one defense in 1-AA, only allowing 223 yards per game. The Rams' no huddle offense is ranked 38th.
Lafayette took an early 6-0 lead but the Rams came back to make it 7-6. The Rams never looked back and led 21-6 at the half. The Rams quarterback shredded the first-ranked offense and moved into first place. It's the first time since 1989 that the Rams are 4-0.
