The Bed-Stuy Aquarium is back open and the man behind it has big plans.

After a full day at work, Je-Quan Irving clocks into his second job — taking care of the Bed-Stuy Aquarium.

“We’re trying to make it permanent,” he added.

After many months of no aquarium, Irving says he's been working with the city to get the site up to code.

Since its creation, the Bed-Stuy Aquarium has been added as a tourist attraction on Google Maps — and even inspired a nearby bodega’s name.

Irving says this has always been about change.

“Change the community, change the dynamics of the community,” he said.
