An ongoing construction project is frustrating Bed-Stuy residents, and it's not wrapping up anytime soon.
Crews have been working on Nostrand Avenue as part of a more than $23.5 million project to reconstruct roadways and improve infrastructure from Flushing to Atlantic avenues.
The city initially anticipated its completion by June of this year, but officials now expect it to take until May 2015, nearly a whole year later.
Local shop owners say that the construction is hurting their business because there's no parking and ramps had to be built for customers.
Residents also complain that the work has been going on for years already, and is disrupting their daily lives.
