The woman behind the intricate outfits seen in Amazon's "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" is from Brooklyn.

Walking into the show's costume department feels like a time warp back to the 1950s. From the dresses to the suit jackets, purses and hats, each item was meticulously designed to portray the characters' personalities.

Emmy-winning costume designer Donna Zakowska and her team bring them to life.

The memorable costumes are at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where the team is hard at work getting ready for the next season.
