News 12 meteorologists say frigid temperatures on Monday will kick off the new workweek.
Monday morning will feature wind chills in the teens ahead of mostly sunny skies under brisk and blustery conditions and highs near the 30s.
Tuesday's forecast calls for cloudy skies with temperatures near the 40s. There's a slight chance of a passing snow shower during the evening as temps drop to the upper-20s.
Wednesday will be mostly with temperatures in the mid-40s.
Thursday will see mostly a mix of sun and clouds as temperatures reach into the low-40s.
WHAT'S NEXT: Bitter Blast Mode for Monday. A series of disturbances will drastically drop the temps for tomorrow. Morning temps will fall to the teens wind chill values drop to the single digits.
