FORECAST:
Sharp cold and blustery conditions continue across the area today with winds near 30-45 mph.
Feels like temperatures stay in the 20s/30s throughout the day and it remains cold tonight.
Wind calms for Saturday and Saturday will be a fair day. Highs reach the lower 40s.
Clouds build into Sunday morning ahead of rain that ends the weekend. This will delay travel on Sunday midday and evening with even some snow showers northwest of our area before they, too, change to rain.
Downpours persist into the late evening before wrapping up into Monday.
Monday looks fair with sun and thin clouds. This comes ahead of Tuesday's wintry weather.
Most of the wintry weather will be in elevated areas north and west of the city, where our borough will likely experience rain. It is possible for us to see a brief wintry mix before changing to rain, but it truly depends on the timing of the storm. If it arrives during the day, it'll be rain. The chances of it arriving early in the morning before sunrise is slim, but would suggest a brief wintry mix if this does happen. As of now, plan for a wet experience, not a snowy one.
