A filmmaker who grew up in Coney Island has a new full-length feature film coming out that was shot entirely in the borough.
Stefon Bristol's "See You Yesterday" is about two teens traveling back in time to save one of the character's brother from being shot and killed by a police officer.
Spike Lee saw a short version of the New York University graduate's film and immediately sold a feature length version to Netflix.
Bristol, 31, says the film is about shedding light on police brutality.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and comes out on Netflix on May 17.
