The odd-even gas rationing system in Brooklyn seems to have eased some of the pain at the pump.
News 12 Brooklyn reports that there were no lines at a Hess Station in Sunset Park this morning, and for part of that time, there weren't any cars filling their tanks with gas at all.
Today, license plates ending in odd numbers or letters are allowed to fill their gas tanks.
Mayor Bloomberg says he's not sure how long the rationing restrictions will stay in place, but he doesn't consider the rules too much of an inconvenience.
