Local health clinics throughout Brooklyn neighborhoods are being celebrated during National Health Center Awareness Week. The centers provide affordable and sometimes free health care to residents who wouldn?t be able to afford it. Still, many residents say there is still much to be done to improve health care in the borough. Local leaders also express concern with the dwindling number of clinics in central Brooklyn. The Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center is holding a health fair to inform residents about its services. The fair runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday.
