About 300 kids from all over Brooklyn celebrated the end of summer at the Police Athletic League (PAL) Borough Celebration Day today. During the event, kids tested their rock-climbing skills at Parade Ground Park. The New York National Guard Counterdrug Task Force provided the portable rock climbing wall and also took the opportunity to talk to kids about drug prevention.Today's event marks the end of PAL's summer activities. The PAL served nearly 8,000 kids this summer through camps and play streets.
